HANDMADE BUTCHERS BLOCK/KITCHEN ISLAND TABLE
Handmade butchers block with oak top and bottom slats, with traditional mortice and tenon joints. It has stop chamfered legs. The bottom is painted with two coats of primer, ready for you to finish with your choice of colour.
The top and slats come off to make it easier for painting.

Welcome to our auction for a Solid Oak Console, hand built by Fieldmouse Furniture.
You are bidding to buy a console as pictured above, not the console actually pictured above, as we will, at no extra cost, build it for you to your specified dimensions, to make your new furniture fit absolutely perfectly into the space within your home!
Accordingly, the photographs in this listing are representative – the winner will receive a Fieldmouse Furniture Solid Oak Console to their specified dimensions (not exceeding 80cm/32 inches in height, 100cm/39 inches in width and 45cm/18 inches in depth) within just 8 working days! We will also confirm your preferred design specifications with you (overhang, shelf height etc).
We do this as we specialise in building bespoke items to our customers particular specifications, rather than simply selling our own designs in pre-set sizes. This gives you a personalised item of Solid Oak Furniture at no extra cost!
Unless otherwise stated, we use 1.5 inch thick Solid Oak timber and 4 inch square Solid Oak leg timber to create our furniture. The drawer bodies are pine, affixed to a solid oak drawer front. Your console will come with completely bespoke, hand-forged handles, handmade exclusively for Fieldmouse Furniture by our artist blacksmith…. FREE OF CHARGE. The first handles pictured are ‘teardrop’ handles as seen on the console. A small selection of alternative handles are also pictured. The console pictured measures:
Height: 78cm (approx 31 inches)
Width: 107cm (approx 42 inches)
Depth: 48cm (approx 19 inches)
We will also deliver the console FREE OF CHARGE within 15 miles of BELPER, Derbyshire (as per google maps). Over this, we will happily deliver up to 30 miles for a small charge of £15. Over 30 miles, you would need to collect the console.
We will finish your console in wax and also supply a tin of wax with the console FREE OF CHARGE for ongoing care, with a care instruction leaflet. Please note, cleared payment required before build can begin. Delivery guaranteed within 8 days from date of payment.

Because we carefully select character grade raw materials, and do not utilise heavy-machine processing, no two Fieldmouse peices will ever be exactly the same. For this reason, please note that our photographs are representative; except for our one-off unique showpeices, your beautiful Fieldmouse Furniture will be built specifically to order.
